19 The Sun
I look at the card and see the lizards round the edge and yellow star shaped flowers – it has a feel of heat and I can almost smell the sun burnt grass. The sun is large and smiling, a happy joyful card. I notice a dry stone wall that's grown over with vegetation and there is a gap which seems to mark a pathway off into the distance.

I walk into the card.....
I look up to the lizards and ask them what they are feeling here. “We are the protectors of the cards – we love the sun and bask in its heat – you too can do this – enjoy the warmth and nurturing of the sun allow it to quicken your pace internally whilst lying back and enjoying it externally. It will set you on fire! We are about vibration and sensitivity too – as you become more sensitive you also become more fussy as to where you will lay yourself open in a relaxed manner – we will only lying the full sun, gathering our energies where it is safe and should the vibration of the ground warn us of some being coming our way we will shelter immediately quickly and quietly so as not to be seen. This silent speedy movement is our protection. We stand on the edge of this card as a protection for you – we will alert you as to when it is time to take cover – in the mean time relax and enjoy the energy for you will be nurtured by it – it will rejuvenate you. Allowing yourself to rest in the sun is much needed. Allow your guards to drop for it is safe to trust and let go, you will know when danger approaches.” “Thank you” I say – I feel this message is very appropriate for me right now – just what I needed to hear and I love these lizards as I feel very connected to their spirit. I nod a bow to them and notice the yellow flowers and bee beneath me.
The bee says “We work together, helping one another, I shall gather the flowers' nectar and help them become fertilised and continue in their propagation. I represent fertility and the harmony or working within a group where each person knows their role and is able to fulfill it naturally – being in the natural flow of life. The groups can be of similar types or of very disparate, it matters not – the only thing required is to know your own true nature and be true to it – all things will follow from this. The group will be functioning at its highest level and much can be achieved this way. The group you think of (I was in mind of a networking organisation I was thinking of joining) you need only find yourself and what is true to you and then act and speak accordingly – you will find the group of great benefit to you in this way, as you are of great benefit to others – look for people who seem interesting – even just interesting looking – you will pick up who to start a friendship with – go with what and who you are drawn to and believe in yourself.” “Thank you bee – this is very useful also.”
I turn to the yellow flowers and they say “We are the star made reality – the yellow of self belief and the star of achievement – together we show you that all is possible with self belief as the bee was talking of. We need not even 'do' anything just 'being' is enough – and for you in many times this will be the case – focus on believing in yourself and your energy will attract those you can most help and with whom you can share the most to make the planet and happier, more joyful place. Do not fear!” “Thank you” I say.
I love this place already – everything is so positive, loving and joyful, I feel an excitement and an anticipation of success and blossoming of all I am. and a knowing that this 'rubs off' on all others I touch too – wow what a great thing.
Then I step onto the field in the central part of the card – there is a light breeze the sun is shining on me, smiling and I am compelled to smile and lift my heart automatically. I walk forward and begin to feel the euphoria I sometimes experience in nature when at a peak time in life. I look around and feel fantastic. Everything and everyone seems to be in the right place and time and I feel taken out of the mundane of the world and just know spirit, the highest being of love. Love is all around and I want to dance and sing for joy, so I do, through the fields to the gap in the small wall – I feel this wall is not keeping anything in or out but merely being a guiding post – a way point to the future – it is like I can joyfully dance and play and my path will be mapped out before me, I need only stay aware in my joy and I will not miss the turnings. Something I feel is an other important message for me – letting go of the fear of missing the opportunities put before me. I look up to the sun himself. He smiles even more widely at me. “Hello” I say – “Thank you for your energy – it certainly is enjoyable!” “No problem” he says... “This energy is always here – available for all – it is only when you focus on knowing that is the truth beneath all, that you can tap into my loving joy, regardless of what external situation are around you. I would want that to be my teaching – that the joy is within you at all times, for the taking – you need only focus on knowing your own truth – believing in yourself and you will see this energy. Even in the darkest of times the sun can light your way forward. I am more than just this circular entity in the sky – I am the representation of all life – of the universal life force beneath and within everything. I send out my loving joyful light for all and it is up to you to take of my energy. I encourage self discovery, self motivation and initiation as well as knowing your own cycles of rest, play and work.”

“What of reversed you ask? I can see you asking of the possibility of arrogance with this card – what of the over doing something that is finished and done just to squeeze the last bit of 'fun' from it – yes these ideas are associated with me in the reversed position as I can burn when I am overdone, but the message is still the same to right this – be true to your inner self – though you may chase fun and joy – perhaps even through drugs and intoxicants – the true self can only experience joy and fun through allowing change and allowing the voice of the self to be heard and honoured even when there are messages saying that this voice can not be right, or cannot be acted on, for fears of one thing or another. Reversed I can also mean the fear of having joyful experiences for the fear of their loss, so always keeping the focus on what could be better rather than allowing the joy to take you over, showing the path ahead more clearly. Reversed I can indicate the fear of trusting, others and yourself. Allow yourself to trust in yourself to right this card and experience its joy.”

“Thank you sun” I say – feeling very excited and joyful whilst also somewhat humbled at being in the presence of such love – I feel it is unconditional and always there, and I can see how I resist it in my life at times. “Thank you all for your teachings here – I have learnt a lot today.”
I leave the card – having really enjoyed this trip, there are many things I feel I need to remember now and that will help me in my life now.

The readings I offer on the phone, internet, in person or by post are detailed and last between 1/2 hour to an hour, also I record them onto CD or MP3 so you can listen to them time and time again – often people find that the things I have said take on new meanings as time passes and that the information that comes through really helps as situations unfold.
Information is gained both from the tarot cards as well as psychically the two forms of guidance merging together to give insight to any situation you are concerned about, or you general future.
Readings can be done by distance onto a CD or MP3 and sent to you in the post, so there's no need to be living in my area, or need to find a time we can both be present. I offer readings Face to Face, On Skype video phone, and usual telephone, as well as distance readings without you needing to be present or available when I do the reading for your focus directly onto CD or MP3. Spiritual Development Sessions
I now offer ongoing development sessions where we use guided meditations, readings and counselling techniques of various kinds to help you develop yourself from both a spiritual and psychological point of view. The sessions are very flexible and we can cover what you need in order to gain the most out of your life. Living your life closer and closer to your souls ideal. This is not psychotherapy though - but a regular support with teaching of skills, to help you move through lifes challenges and develop spiritually and psychologically. Sometimes our lives can become so full with work needs, caring for others, and other commitments, we become increasingly stressed and find it hard to break the stress cycle. Personal relationship awareness and self development
By request, I am currently developing a course focusing on psychological self development and awareness of relationship patterns of behaviour we get into time and time again, to be run later on in the year. It will be heavily based on the theories of Transactional Analysis, which is a theory that explores the games we play with each other and the internal sub-personalities of Parent, Adult and Child, with a view to becoming more authentic in our lives. The course will be held online via a forum as my other courses are. It is not connected with tarot reading specifically, however it will be useful in dealing with clients, whether tarot, healing or other supportive professional roles - particularly where you may find challenges of communication. Initial Thoth Course We are currently taking bookings for the Initial Thoth course starting on January 2012. It covers the psychological and intuitional approaches to reading with the Thoth. There is a good deal of personal work and students often feel they have transfermed personally a lot through the course's duration, in addition to feeling confident with the Thoth and their increasing intuitive skills.
