King of Swords
I look at the card and see a sense of purpose and clarity within the King as he sits centered and up right with his sword pointing to the heavens. The clarity breaking through the clouds is mirrored in the sun in the background shining rays through the darker clouds which seem to be receding. He is dressed in orange and yellow which reminds me of the idea of having a strong self of who he is and also of his own creative nature. The Geese flying overhead seem to know where they are going and there is no doubt. A card of clarity and direction at first glance.

I walk into the card.....
I look to the floor as I walk into the card and see bull rushes growing tall and straight. “We are clear and upright, holding our heads high we are defined and certain in our look. We take our nourishment from the water and as such can be seen to be acting on instruction from the emotional nature within, we do not bend to it rather use it as our strength transforming and mutating the energy into that with will hold us high and proud, strong and able. Though we sway easily in the wind it is not our way to be as uncontained as water itself, it is our way to use the energy from the emotions to guide us upwards to our highest place. You can take these things we share as messages for you and for the king, for he knows of our energy well.”
“Thank you bull rushes, I have always loved you as a plant since childhood – it is lovely to speak with you of your symbolism here.”
I feel the bull rushes (which may really be reeds maces I suspect) bend and sway in the breeze as a kind of honouring and wave goodbye to me. I gently bow to them in respect also.
I walk forward and find myself up close to the King, it is like he fills the space ahead of me, I am almost surprised by his presence. He looks directly at me with his piercing eyes and asks “How can I help you?”
“ I am journeying into your realm to experience and know the meaning of this card – for myself, for others and to clarify your energy in a reading. Can you tell me of your nature?”
“Indeed I can” He says “For I love to communicate and share with others who quest for the truth” “ I am about finding clarity, about knowing what there is to know. I like to learn and to share my knowledge. I do not get caught up with learning but use my mental faculties in a balanced way to find the clearest most logical course in life. Though I am logical in nature I also serve the emotional underpinning of someone psyche, so when the emotions have been explored and acknowledged then my energy allow action to be know and taken. I am the planner, the organiser and the one that finds solutions in difficult situations. the way before becomes clear as I sweep away the irrelevancies and hold onto that which is truly important. In a reading I am of course but the querant in themselves and also the person in their lives with these qualities, the mirror for them to see themselves, the part that is most active at this time. Ask me for solutions to your problems and I will help you find a way forward.”

You are coming away from the 'stuck in stone' type organisation you have had previously and as you do so you find more harmony, peace and productivity. You are balancing all sides of yourself. None needs to take over, you will maintain your fitness, express your creativity and offer your skills in service, all things will be possible. Let go of worry and allow the sun to shine for you, as you do so each step will make itself known as its time is right. ”

“What if you are reversed?” “Then beware the fast talker before you is not telling you all there is to know, he is conning you and is a master, on the internal notice your true feelings and allow them to influence your logical mind for you are in danger of relying on logic alone and forgetting the heart of the matter and the real truth you ultimately seek and want. there comes the clouds of rain and emotions to wash away the dust and muddyness, and bring clarity to you again. Allow the emotions to flow before sticking to your logical approach. It is not that the emotions you feel are the force you should follow more that they need to be released before you can see the clear and logical way forward. They are the clouds before your eyes, release them dispassionately and you will become clear. You can not drive towards your goal and feel you will achieve it if you have not considered that which is affected around you by your plans and goals. It is the addiction to plans and goals without the sight of the whole picture, getting bogged down in technicalities rather than asking whether you goal is truly what you want. “ I walk behind the king and see the sun shining through the clouds...” “Are you the dawning of a new day?” I ask “Yes indeed I am – though not just a new day but also a new chance, at any time of day or life, The stormy clouds are parting and I shine upon the world anew bringing clarity of the path ahead as well as warmth for the journey. I have always been here even during the toughest times but now I am indeed able to work my magic, the wind is moving the clouds for me to shine through.” “Thank you – I love your warmth” I Say “It does help with my clarity!”
Then I ask the wind – “What do you represent?” “ I howl and rage and gently blow – it is to keep all in the flow, I love to give my best of both it helps everything know its strength. I will blow your cobwebs away and tear down all that is weak, I will help you handle the heat of the sun, with my gentle breezes, I am the life force you breathe and I connect with all that is – in many ways I am the physical representation of the interconnectedness of all things, you can not see me yet you feel me, I am like the power within you to tear away that which needs to go and leave the remaining strong elements. I clear and cleanse in order that the sun might shine again in your heart. I love to talk! ”
“Thank you wind, I will listen to your tune in these gales and in your breezes, I can see your value in all things, thank you ”
I look up to the Geese “ Do you have a message for me? ” “We know where we are going and we gather together to make long journeys each starts with just a small movement in the right direction – allow your focuses to lead you in this way – work with the winds energy and movement, and see only your next steps towards your ultimate goal – don't worry about how tired you might get – the energy will be provided for any worthy goal, just set it and go for it. You know to set off with high sights you have the possibility of getting there, but to set off with low sights – though you know certainly you will reach your destination you also know you won't reach the higher goals you could have stretched to... so set you sights high then move one step at a time, worrying not about the whole journey, it will take care of itself. You need to hear this right now.... gather with others of like minds and similar goals and you can achieve much together, helping each other to balance your energies – resting and working hard, each helping the other move forward and allowing themselves to be helped, this is the messages we bring for you and for those reading this material. ”

I turn round and look round this card, I feel that everything is open and clear, there is an honesty about this card and a feeling that you can trust what is there – anything that is unstable has been blown away in the wind and what remains is truly as it is. I like this place, though it is a little chilly, it is also very comforting in its stability.
I walk to wards the doorway I came in and say goodbye to everything and the king as I leave the card.

For those of you who have one of our tapes or mp3's the B side visualisation can be ideal for use like this. When you are led into the garden you can visualise the card there in front of you.
Often people find it easier to maintain the focus into the card when using the light visualisation as directed in these journeys. Readings onto CD or Cassette.
The readings I give from my website are detailed and last between 1/2 hour to an hour, also I record them onto CD or tape so you can listen to them time and time again – often people find that the things I have said take on new meanings as time passes and that the information that comes through really helps as situations unfold. Information is gained both from the tarot cards as well as psychically the two forms of guidance merging together to give insight to any situation you are concerned about, or you general future.
Readings can be done by distance onto a CD or tape and sent to you in the post, so there's no need to be living in my area, or need to find a time we can both be present.
