Page of Wands
I look at the card and see a young boy who looks strong and determined, fresh and new in himself. I also notice the oak trees in the background and the yellow flowers in the foreground. There are dragon flies around him that are almost unseen.

I go into the card....
I look to the flowers as I walk into this calm, but alive place. “Hello” I say “Hello, we are the grounding for you as you walk forward. We are yellow the colour of confidence and the sun. Allow yourself to walk forward with confidence for all is well – your grounding is strong yet sensitive. You will know what to do in all circumstances. Trust yourself and the earth that you walk on.”
“Thank you” I say. They seem very willing to tell me what I need to know and I realise that perhaps this is the point – all I need to know will be there at any time, immediately given if I allow it to be so. I do not need to pull it out of the ether. They blow in the breeze and it is almost as if they are nodding to my thoughts. I smile at them and walk forward towards the Page.
“Hello young Page” I say “ Hello and welcome to my domain.. do you like it? I rather like the fresh breeze and lush greenness myself”
“Yes I do I say – it reminds me of a place I used to camp in in Glastonbury. A place filled with many memories of friendships, and protection as well as growth and harmony. Well that is right, this place is protected, I am free to come and go as I please as I have the protection of the oaks there behind me. They are my strength and my protection, handed to me from my ancestors. You know you have great protection in this life and it comes to you from your ancestral legacy. Though on many occasions you decry your beginnings – that your difficulties were too much for you to bear – it was those times, and also those pre this life, that give you your greatest protection now. You do not need to cling to the way adopted then to get through the time, now you can cast these off as the deep foundations of strength and knowingness have been laid, and can not be removed, the external trusses to build the foundations in the right shape and strength can be lost. Allow them to go – their time is over now. ”
“Thank you young Page, you are wise for your years. ”
“I have memories of other lifetimes that inform me and whilst many would say I am rash and impulsive I have indeed a source of information about me that allows me to trust and move forward with confidence and ease without recourse to the general fears of the times. Allow this in yourself when this card appears for you and your movement will be speedy and unhindered. Your protection will also be assured as you allow yourself to be vulnerable and yet also confident. ”
“Yes I understand – thank you. ” I say
“I can also represent a child or young person in a reading one who has much energy and life about them. I am free, and joyous, loving but not restrictive. I have passion for my life and love to explore and find out about new things. The confidence and warrior energy of an Aries, I wear my self assurance as my clothes, with a sensibility, many think is missing, about my shoulders. This actually is a protection in itself. Do not allow others to stifle your creative and passionate energy, which is just emerging, with their lack of understanding about your ability to be grounded, sensible and appropriate. Your ways at this time may not be theirs. It need not bother you at all. Light the way – others will follow as you take your energy and spirit for life from the fire of all that is – the passion of life itself. This is my fire here at my feet, whilst I use spirit of fire as my guide I am well, for this is symbolic of using the guiding force of the highest creative power in all I do and everywhere I go. Joy and passion are my guides also, for these energies are from the highest planes. ”
“What if you are reversed?” I ask
“Well then I would say fear is your ruler, you need to cast off the fears of what others think and say – the fears attached to you from your earlier life where perhaps certain ways of being were necessary. Cast off the fear to right the card. Let go of old patterns of behaviour. Allow your inner passion and spark to rekindle your passion for life – it is possible for you at this time despite the feeling of overwhelming odds. ”
“I can represent someone who is being irresponsible but only in the sense that the person is so scared that they won't be 'allowed' to do what they want, that they choose actions that truly they do not want, but know that they will receive the response they expect – that of disapproval and condemnation. My advice is to make a decision to not want a response at all from others and then allow yourself to look closely at what it is you really want to do and how you want to do it. This way you can also right the card and live with joy, freedom and life energy around you whatever your age. In the reversed form I can be seen as a rebellious teenager, who is rebelling in any direction rather than the direction they truly know to be themselves. There is no judgment though, for even rebellion in this way teaches ultimately what their true identity is. All paths lead to the source, none is judged. ”
“Thank you Page. You have shared a lot of wisdom and information with me here. ”
“For the journey ahead I do not need to carry much with me” He continues “ – only my inner torch to light the way, some protection for my feet and shoulders and the rest I shall draw upon from the environment around me as reflections of my inner resources. Trust your inner resources... all is well you have all you need. ”
He turns now and walks away – other things to do and places to be. I am surprised at how much he has controlled this journey yet each thing he has said and done has felt to be a response to something I almost asked. I feel his ability to anticipate is great.
I realise I have not spoken to the dragonflies, “Hello” I say –“ I almost didn't see you there. ”
“Hello” They reply.
“What do you represent within this card?” I ask.
“We are the hidden the unseen forces that are present in all situations. We are beauty in the illusion of the world. We fly freely between both plans of existence hardly noticed yet with an effect. When you see us know you can create any illusion you wish even have powers of invisibility when your heart is from the beauty of creation. The impossible is possible with an open heart, faith and trust in higher forces. We are the reminder of this. We bridge the gap between the physical and the spiritual and often use emotional forces to bring our message through, so you can see what the truth is from looking at emotional response as well as from looking from a higher perspective – for the emotions carry great messages to you. Often not quite in the way you expect, but always giving you information to help you become more empowered in your life and more free. We can tell you and show you what you need to know about yourself in this way to lead you to greater freedom. ”
“Thank you Dragonflies. Do you have a personal message for me?”
“Yes – your fear is only the illusion of control of another's well being. You can not control how another feels – merely be who you are and acknowledge you can know the feelings of another, but you are not responsible for them. As you live this message more and more, your freedom will increase. There are those who believe that you are responsible for their feelings – do not allow their beliefs to restrict you – when you focus on your life path and love, all your actions will be for the highest good of all. Sometimes difficult situations and their opportunities are exactly what the soul needs – it is not for you to judge whether you would be the one responsible for them. You are only responsible for your own actions and feelings. This will guide you. ”
“Thank you dragonflies I can understand your message to me here, thank you for take the time to offer this to us all.”
I step back and look around this area and acknowledge the trees, they seem to wave to me from their distance and I know they have had their message delivered to me. So I turn and leave the card, it has been an interesting journey.

Often people find it easier to maintain the focus into the card when using the light visualisation as directed in these journeys. The readings I give from my website are detailed and last between 1/2 hour to an hour, also I record them onto CD or tape so you can listen to them time and time again – often people find that the things I have said take on new meanings as time passes and that the information that comes through really helps as situations unfold. Information is gained both from the tarot cards as well as psychically the two forms of guidance merging together to give insight to any situation you are concerned about, or you general future.
Readings can be done by distance onto a CD or tape and sent to you in the post, so there's no need to be living in my area, or need to find a time we can both be present.
